- REHEARSAL AND RECITAL DATES (FIRM):  Thursday, June 21: Keep this date (evening time) tentatively free--we don't plan to rehearse but might have to.  Friday, June 22:  Early dress rehearsal (itty-bitty show), afternoon dress rehearsal (variety show with FDC and ballet), and evening Show (variety with FDC).  Saturday, June 23:  3 shows (2 ballet + variety, 1 itty-bitty show).
 
- We will be sending out the class rosters that assigns each class to their appropriate recital show by mid-February so you can plan accordingly.
 
- RECITAL PHOTO SHOOT CHANGE:  We will be holding recital photos in the Abbey Carpet vacant space 15-20 minutes before your weekly class time for each class the week of June 18-22nd.  This means you won't have to use a weekend for photo scheduling.

 

-RECITAL FEE:  $20 per family was due by January 16th.  If you haven't paid it, please do so immediately.  If you are using auto-pay, we did not automatically deduct this fee unless specifically asked to do so.
 
-COSTUME FEES:  These will be posted to accounts soon.  We will email each class once the fees are posted.  Please let Sue or Simone know ASAP if you will be using a payment plan/payments for costumes.  We will be ordering costumes over Mid-Winter break.

 

-COSTUME BINDER:  There is a binder at the front desk showcasing recital costumes for each class!  Feel free to browse it when you are here.

 

-RECITAL CUT-OFF:  Due to choreography, we will not be allowing new students into recital (though they are welcome to take class) after Feb. 20th unless the instructor gives permission.
 
3. 2012-2013 Performing Group Auditions:  Saturday, April 28, 2012.
 
4.  The Harbor Dance Performance Group attended New York City Dance Alliance in Portland, Oregon January 27-29th.  They competed their dance pieces and took classes from Master Instructors from New York.  Studios from Washington, Oregon and Idaho attended the convention and competition.  Soloist Alexis Creta and Duo Mikayla Creta + Maeve Griffin received 1st place Gold awards for their pieces.  Senior large and small group pieces recieved 2nd place High Silver.  Junior small and large group pieces also received 2nd place High Silver for their dances.  Specialty awards were received by our Performing Group for exceptional stage presence, exceptional energy, and exceptional creativity.  Kudos to all of the hard-working dancers and parents for making this such a memorable weekend for our dancers!
