Ballet Company:
HD Ballet Company provides aspiring dancers the opportunity to perform throughout the year with professional companies, receive ongoing master instruction and additional class time.
Our program is by invitation only open to mature, level four and higher ballet dancers. If your dancer is interested, she may attend a summer workshop or call for a private evaluation. This season HD will be offering both Apprentice and Principle levels.
Minimum Class Requirements (Per week):
9.5 of average weekly instruction required. Any combination of the following in allowed except where "mandatory" is noted:
* Mandatory 3 hrs. Ballet per week in 4 or 5 (Mon, Tues or Thurs) with Kate Monthy, Nicole Cisler Brun, Jomarie Carlson or Christy McNeil.
* 45min-1 hr. Pointe class. Dancers not yet on pointe may take the beginning pointe class on demi pointe and wear ballet slippers.
* Mandatory Every other Saturday; 1 hour Stretch an Strengthening, 90 min. ballet 4/5, followed by 1 hr. Ballet Company Rehearsal. On weeks when not dancing on Saturday, dancers are strongly encouraged to take additional take classes midweek.
* Mandatory 1.5 hour rehearsal with Joel Myers on Wednesdays at the Tacoma location.
* 1 hour class in Contemporary, Jazz, Progressions/Turns/Leaps
* 1 hour class in any additional genre
* Additional Pointe Classes if approved by instructor.
Company Fee: $65 per month (September - June) covers the following:
Studio overhead (time, space, utilities, rent) (approx. $10 per week)
Choreography fee (approx. $10 per month)

August Fees Due 8/10:
*Jacket/ Warm-up suit: $95 (full suit) $65—Jacket only
* New members only
Basic Costume and Accessories for the season: $100.00
Clinic for Ballet Company Choreography Aug. 17-21: $150
Additional Fees to Budget:
Tuition
Master class and performance traveling fees. Approximately, $150 - $200 for the season to be charged prior to the events.
